Based on my experience as a DJ, I made an app designed to simplify and automate the scheduling of set times for events. By factoring in individual DJ preferences and past schedules, this application ensures everyone gets a fair chance to play at different times, such as early, middle, and late sets.

In this essay, I wrote about my journey as an artist discovering the vast creative potential of generative AI. From novel sounds to visual art, AI offers boundless possibilities to chart new creative territory. Despite current limitations, rapid progress is being made. I see an exciting voyage into the unknown ahead rather than AI replacing artists.

My hope with this album as it focuses intimately on nature, is that we come to realize our interconnectivity. That we are all part of nature and will return to it. And in that way, to notice the sacredness of our interconnectivity. I hope the album encourages people to make small steps that can inspire new possibilities for collective movement toward sustainable systems for all living things

I partnered with Splice to produce a unique sample pack that features sounds from Neutropical. I focused mostly on melodies and chord progressions as thats what i primarily look for in a sample pack. Some parts and sections came from songs that didn’t make it to the album as well as abandoned sketches I’ve been playing around with. Also, you can find otherworldy, futuristic and also organic samples to round out the pack. I wanted this pack to embody Tropical futurism and I would like you to feel as if we’re collaborating and making a song together or atleast get you inspired to make a new song.

Chaos Reigns: Inside the Internet's First 77-Artist "Headless Band"
In a 2019 essay, the applied research organization known as Other Internet introduced a conceptual primitive called "Headless Brands." The authors use the idea to describe an emerging model of blockchain-based branding: Rather than adopt the hierarchical brand logic of traditional corporations, headless brands like Bitcoin reproduce coherent brand identities and mobilize coordinated actions without centralized managerial bodies, acting as community-driven consensus systems within decentralized networks.

This L.A. music producer is obsessed with houseplants: See how they amplify his work

Mark Redito's 'Natural Habitat': Chill beats to grow and photosynthesize to - From the Intercom
Fall is here, and lately I've found myself hard swinging between two moods: either chilling out and letting everything just vibe, or yearning for a night out at the long-abandoned clubs and music venues so I can forget about all my problems. It's just my luck, then, that right in October, as the weather finally starts to mellow out and Filipino American History month is in full swing, that I come across Mark Redito's latest project, Natural Habitat.

Spazzkid: Promise EP
It takes guts to be as emotionally open as Mark Redito is on the songs he releases under his Spazzkid moniker. The Los-Angeles-via-the-Philippines producer has always let gooey sentiments slide into his work, dating back to his earliest rinky-dink demos under the name Cocolulu made almost a decade ago.
